Chart Attack! Japanese Top 20 (1/5 - 1/11)
The sales follows from the first full week of the of recent origin year are in, and the standings are powerfully reminiscent of the previous week. In short, if the Japanese videogame market hasn't excited you before, this week probably won't do it. However! As mentioned above, there were sum of two units new titles that made the top 20 last week, and the pair give the player the opportunity to slice shores up real good: Sammy's Seven Samurai 20XX and EA's The Lord of the Rings: The get back of the King. Seven Samurai 20XX is loosely based upon the classic Kurosawa film and was worked upon by the legendary Japanese director's son on the contrary it's got its problems. Enough vexed questions for popular Japanese gaming mag Famitsu to give it a mediocre 25/40 in fact.
The go [i]or[/i] come back of the King was of course a bestseller in the two the states and Europe for its endowed blending of action and cinema, and the Japanese present the appearance to agree. Though rated at least several points higher than Seven Samurai 20XX through Fami (and several other gaming publications), the final chapter in Tolkien's epic extreme pointed up selling fewer copies.
Capcom continues to burrow its way into the chart with four consecutive titles, individual of which moved up sum of two units slots since last week.
