Taiko No Tatsujin Coming Stateside

Namco plans to release Taiko no Tatsujin for PlayStation 2 in North America, Bloomberg freshs reports today. As part of a general reckoning of the publisher's overseas efforts, Namco managing director Yoichi Haraguchi stated that the generally received plan is to bring the popular taiko drumming harmonious flow action game to the American market a certain quantity of time in 2004.

Namco tentatively plans to localize sum of two units titles in the series (four have been released in Japan for a like reason far) with revised song selections better suited to an American audience.
