Pandora Tomorrow At Sundance Film Festival

Though the pres has already been there and done that, Ubisoft today announced a real unusual venue for the public first appearance of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, the followup to 2002's stealth action hit. The next to the first adventure of Sam Fisher will make its first public, playable appearance upon January 18 at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Sundance, as film buff-skins know, has risen from modest beginnings in the '80s to become individual of the most popular and influential gatherings of the movie business. This will be the first significant appearance of a videogame at the fact however.

"Movies and games have the same goal: to satisfy and mesmerize audiences," said Ubisoft's Tony Kee "Whether or not the final proceeds is a film or a game, a profitable one inspires strong emotions: tension, fear, elation and frustration. Clancy's Splinter small room Pandora Tomorrow, with stunning production values, a compelling story, and incredible action, is a finished example of the evolution of games. And, as a renowned launching pad for hit films, Sundance is the ideal forum to display the game's many nerves to an audience that appreciates great story lines neared in visual form."
