Monster Hunter Server Details

With the game's March 11 release in Japan drawing closer Capcom released a not many more details about its server setup for prodigy Hunter in the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly. The upcoming cooperative action game for PlayStation 2 will feature gameplay comparable to Sega's Phantasy Star Online, on the other hand the opportunities for interaction look to take place on a slightly larger scale.

Capcom will have several enormity Hunter servers in place, each housing 800 players at maximum load. In move round each area of the game's field map (where the hunting goe on) can clinch 80 players at a time, while each city (where you advance to stock up on gear after a hunt) can grasp eight. This differs from PSO of course, where you don't share the field map with any players besides your immediate party. If you're not interested in hunting, on the other hand still want to chat with other players, each of the game's lobbies can clutch 80 players as well.

The maximum size of a hunting party is four players, on the contrary it looks like players will have adequate supply of chances to meet and salute other parties wandering around each area. We'll have more freshs on Monster Hunter very shortly -- it's one of the many games we await to see at Capcom's upcoming pres exhibition later this month
