EA Considers Nintendo DS Development

Electronic Arts is evaluating the view of developing games for the Nintendo D on the other hand has yet to make a firm decision, EA representatives confirmed during the publisher's earnings discourse call today. EA thus positions itself upon the near side of the line, opposite Namco, which confirmed plans to unravel DS software last week.

Some looker-ons may find a tentative stance from EA unusual, considering its support for Nokia's N-Gage handheld (not to mention the Game male child Advance). However, the ease of producing software for the N-Gage's Symbian O -- true nearly the same software as powers many other mobile devices -- is abundant greater at this stage than committing to Nintendo's still partially veiled fresh platform.

The D remains a popular argument starter among game fans, between discussions of the relative merits of the a whole and meta-discussions of whether it's fair to make any sagacitys on the relative merits of the combination of parts to form a whole at this early stage. We encourage enthusiastic debate, and gaze forward to more hard details to combustibles that debate over the coming months
