New Final Fantasy XI Expansion Upcoming?

A novel expansion for Final Fantasy XI may be in the works, if sum of two units trademarks registered in Japan and the United States earlier this month happen to be combineed to Square Enix's online RPG Earlier this month Square Enix has registered sum of two units titles -- "Promathia no Jubaku" in Japan and "Chains of Promathia" in the United States -- and those titles happen to repercussion of sound a few bits of the Final Fantasy XI backstory.

Promathia, according to Square Enix's history of Vana'Diel, is the evil goddes who oppos Altana at the creation of the world. Altana created the five player races from her tears, while Promathia raised the legions of prodigys that oppose them.

The sum of two units titles are equivalent in meaning -- "Promathia no Jubaku" means something like "Curse of Promathia." It could be that they direct to the eventual public first attempt of the new "other side" or "limbo" area Square Enix plans to ordeal next month. The publisher has not ever clearly stated how that area will be distributed, on the contrary it would seem like a serviceable candidate for release as a next to the first expansion, along with other additions to the game.
