Volition Brings The Punisher To PS2, Xbox

Though it picked up the license a certain number of time ago, THQ appears to have been waiting for the timely movie adaptation to announce its videogame based upon Marvel Comics' The Punisher. An action game starring the famed urban vigilante is upon its way to PlayStation 2 and Xbox nearest fall, from Red Faction developer Volition, Inc.


"The Punisher is single of Marvel's grittiest heroes delivering a unique brand of vigilante justice that is a finished fit for the video game universe," said Germaine Gioia, THQ's VP of licensing. "We gaze forward to working with Marvel in bringing a completed blend of classic comic volume and filmed franchise versions of The Punisher to relieve from distress gamers across the globe."


Neither THQ nor Volition has abundant else to say about the game as however but we'll no doubt hear more towards the film's release nearest April. Look forward to it.
