Gunbird Collection Coming To PS2

Atlus plans to release a PlayStation 2 compilation of Psikyo's sum of two units Gunbird vertical shooters, Famitsu Weekly reports this week. The package is to be paid to arrive in Japan nearest February 19 for the reduc price of 4800 yen (about $43)


Gunbird and Gunbird 2 which received separate abode console ports to the Saturn, PlayStation, and Dreamcast in years past, have at no time been reckoned among the actual best vertical shooters, but their fast-paced gameplay and engaging character designs have earned them many fans. As a gift to followers of the entire Psikyo shooter library, the two-game package will also include an extra character -- Ein, the ungracious eye-patched samura from Psikyo's first shooter effort, the famous Sengoku Ace.
