Chart Attack! Japanese Top 20 (12/8 - 12/14)

Welcome to this week's installment of Chart Attack!, our weekly gaze back at Japanese video game software sales care of Dengeki Online. We're down to about a week until Christmas, in like manner if you've been thinking about shoving a shiny novel copy of One Piece Grand Battle! 3 in someone's (or your own) stocking, you might want to gain on that now. And if you spring for Donkey Konga, be certain to purchase an appropriately large stocking.

Capcom contributed the top three best-selling games to last week's sales chart, l by the agency of BioHazard Outbreak. Taking place during the next to the first and third installments of the series (known to us as the Resident Evil, of course), the game places you in control of an ordinary somebody trying to escape the zombie-infested Racoon City with the aid of other gamers via network. If you absolutely can't wait until nearest year for the North American release, importers may be pleased to note that the game does sport a hardy offline mode. And hey, if you can secure online in the states by dint of wading through all the Japanese menus and forms to make KDDI think that you live in Japan, more power to you.

Just underneath the zombie jamboree can be set both version of the latest in the Rockman EXE series. Rockman EXE 4 Tournament amethystine Moon and Red Sun take the next to the first and third slots respectively, providing portable gayety for anyone who's ever been stuck upon the subway for a hardly any hours more than intended. The seperate versions of the game differ not single in the types of robot with which Rockman can fuse end the new Soul Unison a whole but also feature unique stylistic and color variations as well. the one and the other versions should eventually hit the states in the form of Megaman Battle Network 4

The aforementioned single Piece Grand Battle! 3 sold well in its PS2 and GameCube first appearances albeit better in the former. The anime-based cel-shaded 3D fighter features more [i]or[/i] less impressive arenas, as loyal fans are no doubt already aware. Despite its awesome Japanese commercials, Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando penetrateed the market at a unassuming #13 last week, just below Donkey Konga. And sorry EVA fans, on the other hand Broccoli's Shinseiki Evangelion: Ayanami Ikusei Keikaku: Asuka Hokan Keikaku was just single slot short of being upon the top 20. I technically shouldn't level be mentioning it, but EVA fans ne delight in too.
