Dance Dance Revolution Goes Sextuple Platinum

Konami's Dance Dance Revolution series has sold more than 65 million units upon game consoles worldwide, the publisher announced today. That number spans each release of the popular arcade dance action franchise in each world territory, has produced more than sum of two units dozen different incarnations, variations, and append discs.


The of recent origins comes alongside the milestone release of Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix in the United States, the first online-enabled game in the series, and the Dance Dance Revolution Beginner's Pack in Japan. The Beginner's Pack, to be paid for release in Japan December 11 combines a PlayStation dance pad with a special Party Collection disc of fan-favorite canzonets in a charming plastic bucket (pictured above lef)
