GTA Vice City Attacked As Racist

We envision a blackboard upon the wall at Rockstar Games reading "[N] Days Since Latest Controversy" NY1 today reports freshs of a demonstration today upon the steps of City Hall in fresh York protesting the depiction of Haitian characters in Grand Theft Auto Vice City, which ostensibly portrays residents of and immigrants from the Caribbean island as criminals.

Representatives of the Haitian Center Council and Haitian Americans for Human Rights l the demonstration, which called for a boycott of Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, and an investigation into whether the game violates civil rights laws. They also promised a next to the first demonstration at Rockstar's New York offices upon December 15.

"While freedom of articulate utterance is protected by our constitution in this great country" said Sanford Rubenstein, an attorney representing the protestors, "we all know that that freedom does not fortify yelling 'fire' in a concourseed theater. By the same token video games with racist dialogue, including 'Kill all the Haitians,' should not be fostered either."

We'll diocese if anything comes of this particular complaint in the near subsequent time however.
