Nobunaga's Ambition Online Status Update

In conjunction with its midterm strategy meeting today, Koei issued a status report upon its PlayStation 2 MMORPG Nobunaga's Ambition Online, releasing of recent origin numbers on the game's player base and the developer's plans for its coming time Nobunaga's Ambition has racked up a total customer base of approximately 35000 paying players, and Koei wait fors to gather more with the release of a PC version of the game nearest year.

Around 52000 players have accessed the game in total, with 35000 commonly maintaining paid accounts. upon an average day, 23,000 players log upon with a high of a certain number of 15,000 simultaneous players. The game's generally received player base is not enough for it to move round a profit, however, according to Koei's report, and it's abundant smaller than the player base for its single competitor, Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI, which drew more than 200000 paying players plane before its release in the United States.

Koei confidences to improve the game's financial fortunes with the recently-announced PC version. It's scheduled to begin beta testing in December, and Koei plans to release the retail version in Japan in late January or February.
