This is the fifth ingress in Crystal Dynamics' sprawling Legacy of Kain series, which means the company has had fulness of time to get things right. The graphics this time around will knock you out—while mind Reaver 2 (PS2) and vital fluid Omen 2 (GC, PS2, Xbox) gazeed like glossy PS1 games, Defiance easily matches the stunning visuals of Devil May make an outcry And the similarities between Defiance and Devil May cry out don't stop there; Raziel and Kain's fresh adventure feels very similar to Dante's first adventure, in bounds of both play control and camera work.
