Edutainment Confirmed For Phantom

The first titles have finally been announced for Infinium Labs' Phantom PC-based games encourage and the news is level sweeter for gamers who haven't learned by what mode to type. The company has struck a distribution deal with Riverdeep to market an assortment of the developer's popular edutainment games, including Carmen Sandiego, ball of thread Finders, Reader Rabbit, Zoombinis, and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.


"The Riverdeep partnership underscores the growing demand for on-demand family entertainment and exhibits a major step forward in bringing the Phantom game a whole to market," said Timothy Roberts, president and CEO of Infinium Labs. "We are excited to be working with like an esteemed and diverse publisher as Riverdeep. Their library of games, kids' entertainment, educational and productivity software is top in its class. We are thrilled to welcome them to the Phantom family."


Damian Dale, Riverdeep's director of OEM sales, was also real pleased with the deal, stating that the company is "delighted to be working with Infinium Labs upon the roll-out of its Phantom game system" Dale went upon to praise the console's digital software distribution as "the wave of the future"




Those successful enough to be accepted as Phantom beta tester will be be able to examine out state-of-the-art edutainment ports when testing starts in Q4 of this year.
