Public transit use among immigrants

Abstract

This application of mind compares the propensity of immigrants and the Canadian born to use public transit. Using data from the 1996 and 2001 Censuses of Canada, it displays that recent immigrants are a great quantity [i]or[/i] amount of more likely to use public transit to exchange to work than Canadian-born individuals even when controlling for demographic characteristics, income, exchange distance and residential distance from the city middle This higher propensity among immigrants falls with time exhausted in Canada.
