This comical at the same time touching fantasy adventure will hold the reader engaged. The main character, Gwen, is always obsess with bread which provides comic relief. Findabhair, Gwen's cousin, acts as a foil for Gwen, adding further humor. The relationship between the sum of two units cousins is heartfelt, especially the extents Gwen goes to in trying to save Findabhair. Against the backdrop of Irish folktales and tillage the adventure is played without The characters undergo a transformation as they fight against the evil forces of the isle. each Hunter's Moon a sacrifice is required of the mortals by dint of this evil force. The fairies must proffer up this sacrifice, until the heroines advance along. Female readers will appreciate the fact that this volume has a heroine who is to the full human yet strong and adventurous. Hopefully a of recent origin addition to this series will be before long forthcoming, as the author is quite talented in her descriptive skills.
