Announcement from Catherine Balkin, ALAN Authors' Bureau CoordinatorDear ALAN Member: Since the intention of ALAN is to forward the reading, teaching, and appreciation of literature for adolescents, the Board has created an ALAN Speakers Bureau to advance the reading and use of young adult literature in gymnasiums libraries and other settings. We are commonly collecting speakers' names for a posting upon the ALAN website. If you are interested in becoming a visitor speaker at school, library, or university functions, or if you already do a doom of speaking, a mention upon the ALAN website could generate a number of solicitations for you.
