This particular turn features cousins Suzanne, Eric and Jason as they battle the holders of an unscrupulous leather tanning company which is dumping toxic chemicals into Lake Chohobee. The true copy is liberally sprinkled with regards to the icons and inventions of the decade personal computer Rubik's Cube, point and let fly cameras, Rolling Stone. In addition, photographs of these icons accompany snapshots of the characters sporting the hairstyles and dres of the decade. The true copy of this book and others in the series would be great for a application of mind of the decades and a cross-curricular language arts/social studies link. Unfortunately, the characters are not true engaging.
