Artslink Announces 2002 Residency Awards. Artists from Central and Eastern Europe have been awarded residencies in various U arts organizations to work in their respective arts disciplines while working in their entertainer communities, sharing their knowledge end workshops and creating new works reflecting their experience during the residency in the U above $77,000 has been awarded in this circular of residencies to the following associates and host arts organizations: Zeljko Blace (Croatia, Arts Manager), Galina Dimitrova (Bulgaria, Arts Manager), Sasa Glavan (Slovenia, Arts Manager), Viera Jancekova-Kuracinova (Slovak Republic, Arts Manager), David Kareyan (Armenia, Artist), Daniela Kostova (Bulgaria, Artist), Solvita Krese (Latvia, Arts Manager), Pawel Kruk (Poland, Artist), Dalia Lauckaite-Jakimaviciene (Lithuania, Artist), Jelena Peric (Croatia, Artist), Renata Poljak (Croatia, Artist), Vitali Pouchnitski (Russia, Artist), Biljana Tanurovska (Macedonia, Arts Manager), Janka Vukmir (Croatia, Arts Manger). P articipating entertainer organizations include the Bay Area Video Coalition (San Francisco), the gymnasium of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rhode Island academy of Design, Contemporary Arts Museum (Houston), ArtPace (San Antonio), Artist Space (New York) and the San Francisco Art Institute.
