John Benham, a thirty-year music education veteran and leading music advocate, began writing the music education web log--or "blog"--for SupportMusic.com. His weekly "CounterPoint" commentary presents an experienced insider's insights upon preserving music education, links to relevant sources and occasional feedback from other music advocates. Recognized as an dexterous in saving and restoring seminary music programs, Benham has been credited with staving not upon more than $62 million in potential budgetary reductions in music completely through the United States and Canada.
