2004 AdThe Jupiter String Quartet received the Grand Prize at the 2004 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, held at the University of Notre Dame in southern Bend, Indiana. The quartet received $8000 and a winner's tour with performances at the Emilia Romagna Festival in Italy. The quartet, which includes members Nelson to leeward Meg Freivogel, violins; Liz Freivogel, viola; and Daniel McDonough, cello just complet a year as single of New England Conservatory's pupil Honors Ensembles.
