Frederick Harris Music celebrates 100th anniversaryThis year marks the centennial of Frederick Harris Music Co Limited, individual of the oldest educational print music publishers in North America. Frederick Harris Music tenders more than 450 publications in its catalog, including its newest series Celebrate Piano. Frederick Harris (1866-1945) devot his life to music publishing, beginning his career in England working for a large music publishing firm. In 1904 he started his hold business in London and in 1910 established a Canadian office in Toronto. This stir marked the beginning of a drawn out association with The Royal Conservatory of Music and its examination combination of parts to form a whole which is supported by Frederick Harris teaching materials.
