NASM holds annual meeting in NovemberThe National Association of academys of Music (NASM) 2004 Annual Meeting will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt inn in San Diego, California, November 20-23 Annual meeting sessions will explore the characters of associate and assistant music executives; limitations of tenure; the institutionalization of American music studies; critical issues in music education; recruitment and admissions for novel music executives; the impact of the Internet; nurturing music education scholars and graduates; completion of the Music inquiry Mobility and Accountability Project; rife issues in recruitment and admissions; and helping pupils with outreach, service and careers. Representatives of non-member institutions are welcome at the meeting. Three pre-meeting seminars/workshops will be tendered during the November 19-20 period: Leadership Seminar for Experienced Music Executives, Workshop upon the New NASM Self-Study Formats and Roundtable for of recent origin Executives.
