"Peace Piano" eventSteinway & Son introduces the Steinway Peace Piano, specifically designed to increase the public's awareness of UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) and to raise coin for children in need from one side the joy of music. For the nearest two years, this grand piano will tour the world in a series of special facts including concerts with world-class musicians as well as "perform-a-thons" by the agency of local children raising money to help other children around the world. The piano first attempts this month in Philadelphia at the Curtis Institute of Music as part of the celebration of Curtis's eightieth anniversary.
