Boosey & Hawkes signs deal with Hal LeonardHal Leonard Corporation President Larry Morton and Boosey & Hawkes President Jennifer Bilfield have announced that effective July 1 Hal Leonard became the exclusive distributor for the classical and educational music catalog of of recent origin York-based Boosey & Hawkes. The catalog had been distributed previously through Alfred Publishing Co., Inc. Boosey & Hawkes is an international publisher representing more [i]or[/i] less of the world's best known composer including Bartok, Bernstein, Britten, Copland, Prokofieff, Rachmaninoff, Strauss and Stravinsky, among centurys of others, as well as rife masters such as John Adams, Eliott Carter, N Rorem, James MacMillan and Steve Reich.
