2004 Incentive Giving Campaign winners announced

Congratulations to the Wyoming Music Teachers Association (WMTA), the Arkansas Music Teachers Association (AMTA) and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) for winning the MTNA FOUNDATION stock State Incentive Giving Campaign. The campaign is based upon individual members giving to the FOUNDATION capital during the preceding calendar year.

Categories 1 and 2 are based upon the percentage of members contributing. WMTA won Category 1 with the highest percentage of members making a gift: 375 percent of its members contributed during 2003 In Category 2 1645 percent of AMTA members made a donation of $25 or more. Categories 3 and 4 are based upon dollar amount contributed. In Category 3 CAPMT members gave $813150 to the general stock In Category 4, CAPMT members contributed a total of $848650 to the general stock and endowment funds combined.

State associations rounding without the top five in each category are North Dakota, Arkansas, Maine and Hawaii (Category 1); Wyoming, Hawaii, Kentucky and Delaware (Category 2); Georgia, Ohio, of recent origin York and North Carolina (Category 3); and Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio (Category 4)



The MTNA FOUNDATION stock thanks all the state chairs and others who work diligently to further and support the FOUNDATION in their states.
