Eastern DivisionVermont is the featured state for this issue. President Camille Brubaker, NCTM has been a real dynamic leader of the state organization. This year, when faced with policy changes and large rental pay s with regards to use of music building facilities at the University of Vermont she rejoined to the challenge by writing a brawny letter to the president of the university conveying what a great resource VMTA is to the university and state of Vermont Because of the brawny impact of her letter, the university did not charge rental fees The Vermont convention and competitions will be held at the University of Vermont upon October 16, 2004. Vermont revised its constitution and bylaws to gain authorization from the IRS for inclusion upon MTNA's Group Exemption Roster, thus gaining 501(c)(3) status.
