Conference events - CalendarOPENING SESSION Saturday, March 27 7:00 PM Music Hall Barry verdant keynote speaker Barry verdant author of The Inner Game of Music, will be subservient to as keynote speaker during the discourse opening session. Following dinner, a faculty all-star jazz the whole sponsored in part by the International Association for Jazz Educators, will perform. The combo will feature jazz headliner Bobby Watson. A saxophonist, composer husbandman and educator, Bobby Watson grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and trained formally at the University of Miami. The past three years he has serv as the director of jazz studies at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Conservatory of Music. In new years, Bruhn has devoted his time to research studies testing the bio-psycho-social aspects of recreational music making.
