53rd ARD International Music Competition 2004 Munich - CompetitionsThe 53rd ARD International Music Competition will take place August 30 September 17 2004 in Munich, with awards for viola, flute harp and string quartet. There are first, next to the first and third prizes for viola, flute and harp worth 10000 [euro] 7500 [euro] and 5000 [euro] respectively. For the string quartet category, the first prize is worth 30000 [euro] next to the first prize is 22,500 [euro] and third prize is 15000 [euro] In addition to these prizes, there will be several special prizes, including audience prizes and awards for best interpretation of the commissioned works, among others.
