MTNA partners with the Performing Arts Medicine Association - Brief Article

MTNA has partnered with the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA) and the Texas Center for Music and Medicine at the University of North Texas to make known health education materials specifically for National Association of academys of Music (NASM) students.

The throw is in response to of recent origin NASM guidelines that direct member place of educations to educate all music learners about health issues associated with music. Grants will capital research by medical and science clevers in the areas of neuromusculoskeletal, mental and vocal health. The information from these studies will be not awayed during an interactive conference in Fort Worth, Texas, this fall. MTNA Vice President Gall Berenson, NCTM will exhibit MTNA at this conference. Materials then will be available. Using public health methodologies and field-testing, further revisions will be made and then the materials will be distributed to all NASM academys for use with students.
