International Singing Conference set for October 2004 - Items of Interest - Brief Article

The National Center for Voice and articulate utterance (NCVS) will conduct its next to the first International Physiology & Acoustics of Singing talk October 7-9, 2004, in Denver Colorado, at its of recent origin facility in the Tramway Building and the Executive Tower Hotel

The next to the first International Conference on the Physiology and Acoustics of Singing will bring together performers, voice educators, voice scientists, medical doctors and behavioral therapy specialists in a unique format of prelections demonstrations and performances. Conference organizers have invited professionals from various fields in the belief that what is learned from the exceptional vocalizations of singers from all genre can help "all voice professionals to understand "normal" behavior and exhibit new habilitative approaches, including those that integrate technology into vocal training.

Lead speakers will include Ingo Titze, Johan Sundberg, Thomas Cleveland, Garyth Nair, Harm Schutte and Sten Ternstrom
