East Central Division - Division News - Brief Article

Our fall schedules are forcibly upon us! Hopefully, we all had the opportunity to recruit and catch up on our periodicals. Many East Central Division (ECD) members have traveled far and wide teaching at music camps, performing and attending international workshops.

The Summit for MTNA Leadership in Cincinnati, September 5-7 will bring together MTNA leadership from all horizontals This is a productive time to share ideas and learn fresh ways.

Speaking of shared ideas and learning, I encourage all members of ECD to attend their respective state discourses The growth in knowledge is invaluable to the teacher and their learners Take note of the following dates and locations: Wisconsin, October 17-19 University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee; Michigan, October 18-20 Sheraton public-house Lansing; Illinois, October 31-November 1 Northern Illinois University, DeKalb; Ohio, November 14-16 Sheraton Suites house of entertainment Cuyahoga; Indiana, November 21-22, Goshen community Goshen.
