Kwanzaa for Young tribe (and Everyone else!), composed and produc by means of Charles Mims and Patsy Moore, is a delightful station of songs representing each of the seven principles and culminates in a Kwanzaa dance. In addition to an array of instruments exhibited on this recording, children and adults are involved through every part of in groups or as soloists.

The Kwanzaa celebration, a 1966 creation through Dr. Maulana Karenga, is a seven-day celebration beginning upon December 26 and ending upon January 1. Each of the seven days is exhibited by a candle (one black, three virid and three red) and superviseed by a certain principle.

The CD render free of accesss with Umoja as a rhythmic and upbeat instrumental background cheerfully wafts its message of unity. Kujichagulia (self-determination) is a drollery word to say and is cleverly worked into a repetitive melodic/rhythmic pattern, allowing single to easily sing along after alone a few phrases.
