Perhaps Died & Gone to Heaven

And when they turned me over

great storms mov across my breasts

and a terrible accident lay upon my ankles,

stories of extortion overspreaded half my neck

and a birth announcement blazed across my face,

and when they turn rounded me over

they ground my back-stamped with cryptic alphabets

and above the backs of my calves and thighs

they could just make. without lines inscribed

in loving script they believed to be fragments

of stories children told of their fathers and mothers,

and when they searched past the bases of my`hair

they felt the stirrings of a liquid music

and place the vault where Lost particulars are sent

and where words which are not nuncupatory wait

and they move rounded back to their experiments

and their trials and left it.
