Certification of competence and public school teaching: a glimpse into practice.

When I asked these authors to write about their insights into teacher assessment, I knew that the resulting pieces would resonate. My greatest fear was that their articles would collectively paint a picture of teacher certification for a like reason challenged that people might despair.
