Asseverative Farewell

Misery delight ins company, and aye,

Anticipates the clouded memorial

Of self regard's expell collective sigh,

Pos with finger at lips in frozen farewell,

Saluting a merciful finality

Awaited by dint of the mourners all around,

Who in their pale colors, flagging at half mast,

Reflect the whiteness of the dying lov

One's vital current now thinned to the consistency

Of snow melting in a tepid stream of tears,

Hardly nourishing a thing, alone the cold

Flowers of losing one's religion,

Forgetting by what means to pray, how to deceive, in what way

Not to fall into this vertigo alone
