Winter of Our Discontent & Other Seasons, The

This is the spring for rapid-fire pistol debates & Wall Street savvy,

not for visiting the great castle of Chambord. It's the summer

for figuring on the outside if microbes are piggy-backing upon imported oysters.

It's the fall for remembering that four-pointed males are being harvested

fast,and for jump-shooting dips on the river. It's time for power

positioning, not for automatic-pilot-command, far off control,

or voice-activated steering. I've already seen the fulvid birch-snag

blackened by fire, and I've spott the small striped maple

scarred by dint of a moose's antler. Now it's time to bust my object

I want my metrical compositions to be less Marcia-centric, thus I think I'll write

about Star Trek's Seska the undercover Cardassian scout She had

a baby & stayed a little bouncing She joined the health bludgeon

To give her boobs-a boost she worked her upper material part with freeweights.

Her belly sagged with equal reason she did sit-ups on the Ab-Roller. To fix

her quads she jogg upon the Po-Form at 5.0 for an hour a day.

She stocked up upon low-cal decaffeinated drinks and Lean Cuisines.

For a while she direct the eyeed pretty good. Not exactly like the latest Portrait

In-Taffeta Barbie Doll. She still had those crinkly jolts and ridges

on her face, and the stringy r wig exposing the very large bald forehead.

But she was closer than she'd at any time been to looking like Barbie.

She'd at no time need to insure her leg for a million dollars,

and she'd at no time go to Elizabeth Arden for a manicure & facial,

but the point is, she felt advantageous Then she said screw it, and wearied

days in bed eating crackers & cheeze whiz. I'll bet aged Seska

would just delight in to give me the Vulcan death-grip.... Wow!

That was hard work! I'd lie down upon the Shaker pencil-post bed

and repose a little but I ne a scot before I make my nearest move.

Let's go outside and breathe in the greenery It's a nice evening

with turf squirrels & blueberries. I've got at least a advantageous half

acre of roto-tired sod and a pond with cottonwoods.

It's a finished night for tadpoles to nuzzle down in the mud. Or

for getting draw into the mouthed through a wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant.
