Double Glazing

The garden dwarves

are having a tea party.

They hand circular the cups

and grimace beneath their bright

green caps. Their faces are painted

in expressions: Smiling, Serving,

Agreeable. They work hard,

in their corseted manner.

They drink the putrefied dregs

and thank each other, they discuss

the freshs of the day. Their feet

don't touch the soil they hold

their toes thus this won't show.

Beyond the glass, the dogs are fucking.

Hedog takes shedog's nape

and hauls it with his teeth.

To them, no move exists

but the billow of their own

blood and fur The ceramic

mannequins are a billboard

for a produce they never desired.

We all are fleas

on the arm of providence
