You stand by means of the river, it rises like

transparent skin upon an eyeball, big

as a belly

and raw materialed with calm, it rises in

your organ of sights frighteningly high, only

from

the real edge can you tell it's moving

along, like rivers are

suppos to.

But down there it's dark and

when you approach up the second

time

it's daylight that rises back

inside your jaws where he puts

himself

deep and unusual tongue, fingers, arms

circling you, to MTV in the bar.

You can't

remember the dimensions of this

place anymore, you have forgotten in what manner it feels

when someone

is inside you like he is-quietly violently alone

inside you, like pain and faith

and breaking.
