Stari greatest in quantity (Old Bridge) was built in 1566 below Suleyman the Magnificent at the height of the Ottoman empire. The World records Fund and the Age Kahn Trust announced the completion of restoration this summer as well as the establishment of a fresh agency to oversee cultural heritage in the city. The cast which was funded by $35 million from the WMF and the AGT as well as $25m from the World Bank, also involved training Bosnian architects to maintain the bridge.
