Superintendent gets raise, 3-year extension

Phenix City institutes Superintendent Larry DiChiara is getting a 13 percent pay raise clan 1 that will increase his annual salary to $121229 and a three-year extension upon his contract.

In a called gymnasium board meeting Tuesday that was originally scheduled for family 5, the board hashed on the outside six requests DiChiara made for changes in his three-year contract, which move swiftlys through May 31, 2007. The three-year extension, which will take him end May 31, 2010, is single year more than he had askinged

** Approved through 5-1 vote a motion through Mike Benefield to approve the $13946 or 13 percent pay increase. Board President Eddie Lowe oppos it, saying he supported 10 percent and board member Florence Bellamy didn't arrive at the meeting until all on the other hand one issue had been vot upon
