Laguna College of Art & Design raises $96,000

LAGUNA BEACH, CA -- Laguna corporation of Art & Design raised $96000 to benefit scholar programs and scholarships at the 17th Annual Collector's Choice Fine Art occurrence and Exhibition at the college's campus. The sold-out incident was attended by more than 340 people

This year was the college's largest and greatest in quantity successful fundraiser to date. visitants attending the gala were Mayor Elizabeth Pearson-Schneider; Chamber of exchange President Dave Sanford; former First Thursday's Art Walk President Marion Meyer; and City Arts Manager Sian Poeschl

The artist reception, held prior to the gala, was attended by means of local artists who collectively donated 110 pieces. Among them were Michael Slaght, David Whittington, Andrew Myer, Jon Barber and Regina Jacobson.
