MoMA presents landscape photographsof recent origin YORK -- The Museum of new Art presents "Landscape: Recent Acquisitions," an exhibition of 34 lately acquired photographs, through Sept. 4 The exhibition features works made in seven countries upon four continents that together throw back a variety of current approaches to describing mankind's nearness on the land. Artists included in the exhibition are: Karin Apollonia Muller (Germany, 1963); Roy Arden (Canada, 1957); Eduardo del Valle (United States, b Cuba 1951); Mirta Gomez (United States, b Cuba 1953); Olafur Eliasson (Denmark, 1967); Noriko Furunishi (Japan, 1966); David Goldblatt (South Africa, 1930); Geoffrey James (Canada, b Wales 1942); An-My Le (United States, b Vietnam 1960); Sze Tsung Leong (United States and Britain, b Mexico 1970); Scott McFarland (Canada, 1975); Simone Nieweg (Germany, 1962); Clifford Ros (United States, 1952); and Mike Smith (United States, 1951) To accommodate the intention of their subjects, many of the photographers work in reach outed groups of pictures.
