Child magazine honors Chicago's art instituteCHICAGO -- The Art Institute of Chicago was named the best art museum in the United States for children, through Child magazine, as part of its "Ten Best Art Museums for Kids," listing. The flows are the culmination of a four-month investigation, which examined more than 100 museums nationwide, and were published in the March 2006 issue of Child magazine, sold upon newsstands. James Cuno, president, and Eloise W Martin, director of the Art Institute, says that the museum "was thrilled by dint of the No. 1 ranking" and that "the flows of Child magazine's survey will help bring our outstanding programs and accessibility to a true wide audience."
