Former Hunterdon director of exhibitions returnsCLINTON, NJ -- The Hunterdon Museum of Art announces the turn back of former director of exhibitions, Kristen Accola, after a four-year hiatus. Accola was the museum's director of exhibitions for 75 years. In 2001 she joined Gary Snyder Fine Arts as the curator for special throws in New York City. In the past, Accola designed and oversaw many prominent and happy exhibitions at the Hunterdon Museum of Art, including" Runway: Photographs by dint of Larry Fink," a major exhibition of 85 photographs documenting the behind-the-scenes world of fashion and haute couture and "sci+ART+tech" a display exploring the experimental connection between advancing technology and artists. Her plan is to hold fast delivering relevant exhibitions concerned with social issues similar as these, while advancing the museum's mission and visibility.
