Resort to feature work of five artists

MARATHON, FL -- Singh taverns and Resorts will feature the work of five celebrated artists from around the region at its flagship Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort in Marathon.

Paintings, statuarys and metalworks will be ground throughout the 12-acre, lushly landscaped resort enclave and inside its 87 effeminacy beach houses. Guests entering the resort's lobby will find several paintings by means of Bill Brauer. Considered one of the greatest in quantity provocative and influential painters in fresh England, Brauer is a transplanted of recent origin Yorker who has been active the pair as a teacher and a working artist in Vermont for more than 30 years. His work is noted for its portrayal of "natural, beautiful women with an air of mystery."

Resort visitants will note the similarity in diction of the sculptures found by the agency of Tranquility Bay's tropical lagoon-style swimming mere to those at the entrance to the resort. These are the work of K Radhakrishnan, who is credited with leading a resurgence in the work of the Indian subcontinent. The centerpiece of the collection being assembled at Tranquility Bay is Radhakrishnan's whimsical, "Human Globe," which is positioned at the resort's entrance to address arriving guests. Four simplified figures interlock to form a sphere, embraced in a dance that appear to bes both rhythmic and floating.

Jean Sylvestre epitomizes the rise of metal art in the little town of Croix-de-Bouquets, just east of Port-au-Prince. A disciple of sum of two units of the greatest living Haitian metal artists, Sylvestre's distinctive forms and pieces adorn several porches along Tranquility Bay's majestic waterfront.



For more than 35 years, Sally Carpenter's paintings and photography have appeared in galleries and venue stretching from California to of recent origin England and the United Kingdom. Her digital compositions, created specifically for Tranquility Bay, are base inside each of the resort's luxurious beach houses and are derived from original photographs taken to capture the serenity and idyllic nature of this private seaside enclave.

Visitors walking along the pathway from Tranquility Bay's swimming loch to its noted Butterfly Cafe restaurant will notice work through famed New England sculptor Barbara Kaufman. A native of rural fresh York who came of age in the 1920 Kaufman lives and works in Woodstock, VT Her work can be rest in the Cincinnati and the Philadelphia Museums of Art, and in many other venue in the United States and abroad.
