Gallery opened 'in new hot art scene'fresh YORK -- Mario Novak, a renowned photographer and fine art print master, has uncloseed a 10,000-square-foot gallery that shows 15 artists from around the world. With more than 60000 photographs and images in his portfolio from a 20-year career, Novak is opening his space in what is called "the fresh hot art scene" of drawn out Island city. The space includes moveable glass walls and a cover deck view of the Manhattan skyline. Divided into five separate areas, it has three galleries for exhibitions and permanent displays; a performance space for artists with solo shows; and a printing operation area. "My belief is that art should be affordable to everyone" says Novak. "For that reason, I have published a certain quantity of of my work and the work of other artists in the form of fine art prints for nation to enjoy for themselves, and to share with their friends. I believe that art is a reflection of the artist's frame of mind." Beginning this month the Mario Novak Gallery will entertainer 15 solo shows, displaying each artist's diverse mode of speech and technique. Some of the featured artists include Gildo Spadoni, photographer; Vladimir Maximov, painter and photographer; John Paul D'Antonio, hyper-realism landscape painter; Neil Simon, photographer; Allen Orlic, Croatian painter; Susan Bowen, photographer; and Miro Sinovcic, modernist painter.
