Talk-show host presents art exhibit for MS foundation

fresh YORK -- Emmy-award winning talk-show entertainer Montel Williams, along with his art consultant Tod Volpe near the exhibit, "Rites of Passage," showcasing the vivid paintings of artist Samantha Keely Smith at the ACA Gallery. The occurrence running June 4 through July 15 includes more than 20 works of art that are priced between $15000 to $50000 with 10 percent of the make headways being donated to The Montel Williams M Foundation. The organization was started in 2000 by the agency of the talk-show host, the year after Williams was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

British-born Smith is an abstract oil painter who describes her work as "an exploration of the tension between light and dark, order and chaos, heaven and earth." She has been awarded with honors, including the 2004 International Angel Orensanz Art Foundation Award, and won first prize in the Annual Competition at the Mason Gros seminary for the Arts at Rutgers

"I have appreciated Samantha Keely Smith's work for years, and direct the eye forward to a partnership that reach forths to the many worlds brought together by means of her art and my mission to corrective MS," says Williams.
