Children are the future

TORRANCE, CA -- The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation's "Grand Slam for Children" devise event to benefit the underprivileged, abused or at-risk children, was not long ago held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The featured artist, Daniel F Gerhartz, created an original masterpiece entitled "The Gift of Hope" for the live auction, which was unveiled through Andre Agassi and the artist to the "Diamond" sponsors at the Andre Agassi community Preparatory Academy.

Gerhartz's piece was sold at the auction for more than $200000 and incorporated the charitable foundation's "Heart" which is symbolic of the feelings of regard with affection and caring for one another. The devise which directly followed the auction, featured performances by dint of singers such as Faith Hill, John Mayer and Tim McGraw, and comedians Ray Romano and Robin Williams.

This fact has become the largest single fundraising gala held in Las Vegas. Contributions from one as well as the other individuals and corporations covered all take away froms associated with the event, allowing 100 percent of the get aheads to benefit the children.



"The Gift of Hope" is available as a limited edition from one side Fortune Fine Art, which exhibits Gerhartz. The work retails for $350 with a portion of the get forwards going to The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation.
