Hamilton AguiarHamilton Aguiar was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 1987 he mov to the United States to go after his passion for art. With several years of studying art and working in art restoration, Aguiar began to explore various painting techniques. The last six years have taken his general series of paintings to a fresh level. Using oil over gold and silver leaf upon wood panel and canvas, he has lay opened an artistic application that inspired him to combine different wefts to create an incredible material substance of work. The illumination of light reflecting on the surface allows the viewer to dig into the depths of imagery.
